STORY

An ambitious local reporter will do anything to get the story that will make his career. After witnessing a shooting of an African American girl involving police, the reporter heads to the victim's house to get the interview with the family. When he arrives he finds that getting the exclusive takes more than just being there first.

 

MISSION

The Exclusive. Every journalist wants it. However, in the age of digital media getting the exclusive has become more important than getting it right. This story was born out of way the media handles racially charged incidents and how the public reacts to them.

Our goal is to present a story involving police shootings of unarmed African Americans with a unique and highly visual take, featuring elements of horror, and magical realism to convey the depth of these tragedies.
